This EASY tour has been designed for all those who want to enjoy the beauty of being immersed in nature, riding a fun e-bike with their family or friends, to discover typical tasty food, local history and breathtaking views.
LOCATION:
Tour 1000 takes place with a shuttle transport up to about 1000 meters and then crosses a unique setting in the Barbottina forest, the largest beech forest in Europe, and reaches the Giustenice yoke where you can enjoy a fantastic sea view.
Lunch is provided in a shelter immersed in the woods. Return in the afternoon.
The tour includes the presence of 1 professional local guide.
PROGRAM:
Appointment to the sea in Pietra Ligure at 8:30, we load the e-bikes and go with the minibuses for a journey through hairpin bends until we reach, in about 30 minutes, the Forte del Melogno. As soon as we arrive we enjoy the sunny panorama of the green valleys that run to the sea.
Just the time to unload our two wheels and away with the guide to discover a green world made of shadow and light: the Barbottina beech forest.
It is among the most luxuriant beech forests in Italy, at about 1020 meters above sea level. A truly magical centuries-old beech forest, the regenerating green of these tall trunks will make you experience a path in the shade of the leaves along a dirt track with not too demanding "ups and downs". In the meantime, pedaling, between a “mount and bend” we easily reach the Giogo di Giustenice. Stop at a View Point with a breathtaking view and then down to the Pian delle Bosse refuge to socialize all together over a 0 km lunch.
After lunch we will leave to close the loop of the route that will take us back to the finish, passing through the ancient village of San Michele a Giustenice, famous for the Palio dei Carri and the Medieval Dinner. Two photos on the square to immortalize the trip and we set off on an adrenaline-fueled Trail Enduro down the valley to the arrival point in Pietra Ligure.
